The Club degli Eventi e della Live Communication presented a 7-point handbook tracing the guidelines to design and create sustainable events trough all stages, from the briefing to creative development, to production and post-production.

Leading corporations such as Intesa Sanpaolo, Davide Campari-Milan, Enel, and big players in the industry, including Next Group, took part in the round table.

The debate brought out that the “zero impact event” goal can only be achieved through collaboration and discussion between supply and demand, that should operate synergically.

Next Group’s commitment is further proved by the attainment of the ISO 20121 certification, the sustainable events management standard. “We consider this certification only the starting point of a path that places the agency among the promoters of ecological transition in the event industry”, said Valentina Bigicchi, “We cannot be sustainable only at the last mile of the event, at the production stage. Sustainability is a collective thought, involving a variety of both players and processes”.

Besides, the promotion of the important www.eventosostenibile.com initiative is still ongoing: a public web portal representing a tool capable of helping and guiding industry operators to undertake sustainable actions throughout the creation and implementation of events.
